Everyone has a story to tell: people who are struggling to keep a roof over their heads; people who have previously been on income support; and the family and friends of those who are experiencing hard times.

Since the Raise the Rate for Good campaign began, thousands of people have shared their personal stories with us. And our community has worked to support many of them to share their experiences on social media, with politicians, and to become fierce media advocates. 

The stories and advocacy of our community have helped to shift the media narrative around poverty in Australia and persuade numerous politicians to support an increase to income support. But there is still more work to be done.
